Through discussion, research insights, and hands‑on activities, you’ll learn practical ways to use nature connection to build confidence, resilience, and calm in the children you work with.

Step into the world of Forest School with this hands‑on introductory workshop designed especially for educators. Spend the day immersed in the beautiful South Downs National Park as you explore how nature‑based learning can transform children’s development, wellbeing, and engagement.

New Year's Eve Woodland Family Session, 10-2, Brandy Hole Copse
Join us for a woodland morning of traditional New Years inspired forest school activities for families. Whittle a wishing stick, make some natural prints and gathering around the fire to cook a tasty snack!
Adult Forest School! - A session for Grown Ups! January 24th 10-1, Lavant House Woods.
Saturday 24 January, 10:00-13:00, Lavant House Woods.
We'll be creating, crafting, using forest school tools, developing controlled fire-lighting skills, cooking over the fire, making and ... dare I say it ... playing! Plus much, much more.

"Go Wild" Woodland Forest Activity Drop-off Day for 5-11yrs at The Secret Garden, 30th Dec
Drop off session for children aged 5 - 11 years, 10am - 3pm
Activities include
- Drop the children for a fun day of woodland adventure and play this school Christmas holiday. Fire lighting, campfire cooking, woodland games, den building, arts and crafts and woodcraft.

We have been chosen as a Co-op Local Community Fund Cause
We are excited to announce that we have been chosen by the Co-op as a local Community Fund Cause.
This means Co-op Members can officially support Chichester Forest Schools CIC (Cause ID: 89597) as part of the Local Community Fund. The more members that choose our cause, the more money our projects will receive.
The funding period will run until next year, closing on 18 October 2025.
If you are already a Co-op member you can vote for us here or in store. If you are not a member and wish to help us raise funds you can easily become a member for the princely sum of £1 and then vote for us. The more votes we get the more money we will receive.
