Womens Wood Crafting Courses

 

We are delighted to be able to offer more  wood crafting sessions to all you wonderful women out there. Come and join us to create and make something from wood. We will breakdown and use pallets and give them a new lease of life.  Most of our craft ideas come with a rustic edge!

During this session you will have the opportunity to work with tools,  drills, saws, whittling knives and sanders

Fun relaxed sessions with forest school leaders and wood crafters Emma Wiles and Ansie Newman at the Secret Garden, Fishbourne. Emma runs her own reclaiming and recycling business ” finny’s sweet salvage” making beautiful things out of reclaimed wood.. An opportunity to learn and  master your wood craft skills.

Forest bathing

What is forest bathing? This Japanese practice is a process of relaxation; known in Japan as shinrin yoku. The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can help both adults and children de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way.  Come to Kingley Vale and imerse yourself in this beautiful woodland, led by Rachel forest school leader and shinrin yoku practiioner you’ll go home relaxed ready for a good nights sleep.
